Hi
I'm a women suffering from diffused hairloss, I recently went to see a hair transplant surgeon and although she said I had a good donar area, she felt that I had too much hair and not enough gaps inbetween the hairs (I'm confused as I have been diagnosed with severe AGA) and that for every hair she put in 2 would fall out. I can understand the logic behind this, but am very disappointed as feel my hair is far from cosmetically acceptable I can't go out without putting a pot of toppik on.

It's also made me feel really negative about the future, I thought that I might have to wear a hair system now but hopefully in 5-10yrs time stem cell research will come out and that will definately be my answer. However I am now thinking that stem cell and hair multiplication will not be an answer for women with diffused hair loss as this will also cause shock loss? All stem cell research/hair multiplication will do is increase the donar supply, but not be any good for women with diffused hairloss who are not candidates due to shockloss??

What are ladies/mens opinions regarding this???
