i am so happy i found this forum. i am a 39 year old married mother of 3 and my problem is, i am losing my hair on a daily basis, to the extent that i now wear wigs and only leave my hair on when i am home by myself. it is so terrible that i would not even let my husband see it. i am so depressed and embarrassed by my hair loss. i am in desperate need of help. what can i do or use to make my hair grow back and stop the breakage. i tried doo gro products but this did not work for me at all. pls help.
Ekoepe welcome to the forum!
Very sadly our Hair loss guru Mark is mostly not on this forum over the weekend. So for now you have to be satisfied with my advice.
It would be very good to indicate what kind of hair loss you have and especially where you are losing the hair. Is it all over your head or in some special area?
Is your hair loss happening in this pattern?:

Or is it diffuse and all over you head? (for example at the back of your head) Cause if it is in some certain area and not diffuse, Hair Transplantation sure is an option. But sadly in women it is very hard to diagnose if diffuse or not, so you might need to see a physician hair restoration specialist.
How long have you been losing your hair now?
Have you eve thought about using Minoxidil?
Have you tried Toppik / Dermamatch? Or is the hair loss so advanced that these products wont help?
The doo gro products sure appears to be good shampoos, however as you realised yourself if your hair loss is linked to some disease/stress/DHT these shampoos wont help much. If the answer would only be so easy!
Don’t worry too much. Let’s try to solve your hair loss step by step.
The questions posted by Lain are very relevant. The more info you can provide, the better we'll be able to help.
