I've been reading from some who aren't improving with fin/dut that they aren't responding to the medication. I personally don't believe that someone doesn't respond to something. It goes into your stomache and it's broken down, goes into your bloodstream etc.

Maybe what the medication can offer does not beat the speed at which someone is balding.

That's just my take on it.

I think you're confusing someone "responding" to a drug (meaning the drug has the proper effect upon them) with someone simply ingesting a drug.

If I inject myself with insulin, nothing will happen to me (very little anyhow). But if I was diabetic and inject myself with insulin it will save my life. Alternatively, some people can take penicillin and it will save their life, others can have horrible reactions to it.

Some people just don't react to finasteride, approximately 10% of people taking it. Their body is absorbing the drug, but their body just does not react to it the same way that it does for most people.

does this have anything to do with the way the finasteride is ingested?
