Should I have any legitimate fears about scarring if I'm only getting about 100 grafts put into a scar by Dr. True/Dorin?
My goals are to dilute my scar enough to wear a short buzz cut (#1-2).
Can anybody tell me specifically about what kind of scarring I may face from the FUE punches? Could I end up with scarring that I may regret?
Any information on scarring in such small procedures would be great.
Thanks

There's very little long term scarring (noticeable scarring anyway) that results from FUE punches. They're so small that they tend to heal well.
For a few months after the surgery, you may feel little bumps on the back of your head occasionally, but that will go away. And those are more annoying for you because you can feel them, but they aren't really noticeable visually.

Can someone please fill me in more on how invasive a FUE procedure is?
Thanks,
Tricia

I'm not sure exactly what your question is. "How invasive"?
Here's the section of our site that details FUE. (http://newhair.com/fue/) If there's anything missing that you want clarification on, please feel free to write.

I have experienced both strip and FUE as a patient.
Let me tell you that the difference was like day and night.
I mean I really don't know how to describe it well, but just know that FUE feels like a treatment as a patient, whereas strip gives you a true surgery feeling.
As for myselve I would never ever go through a strip surgery again knowing the difference.
Hair transplantation is a surgical technique that involves moving skin containing hair follicles from one part of body (donor site) to bald or balding site (the recipient site). Mainly genetically resistant hair follicles are transplanted to the bald scalp and the transplanted hair last life long. Hair transplantation is also used to restore eyebrows and beard hair and to fill in scars caused by accidents or previous surgeries and previous hair transplants. Modern Hair transplantation can achieve a completely natural appearance
