MPB Referred to as a Disease?!

I'd like to know why some people call this a "disease".

The only thing about this that makes it worthy to be called a disease, from my understanding, is that it's not favorable and it's due to a genetic issue.

But I'm wondering if people call this a disease for another reason.

Probably because the definition of "Disease" is so broad. A brief look at the Wikipedia page on "disease" gives you an idea of what I'm talking about. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disease)

Disease. Disorder. A normal part of the human condition. Call it what you will I suppose, but it's the pits for some.
