Is this balding?

please could you give me advice on whether you would guess this is a form of balding in the pictures below. i seem to have a more visable scalp in similar areas and am wondering what your opinions are on this, especially conidering he still has a full head of hair now!! :)

If he grew his hair out it would probably look like that guy sitting next to him in the fourth pic. In other words no it's not balding. He just has a "side recession" that comes to many men who have matured. The recession isn't even going up, it's a upper side recession like I said.
