rogaine shedding and propecia

hi everyone, i'm 20 years old and im on propecia for 2 years, 3 months before i try rogaine and quitted after 2 months use. i was shed some hairs during the rogaine medication. now i cant get them grow back. i'm now on propecia(1mg) and avodart(.5) daily

i need to ask some questions to experts.

0--can propecia recover the hair after using rogaine?( i used rogaine for 2months then quitted.)
1--how long the rogaine s effects go on after quitted?
2--i dont want to use rogaine anymore but after rogaine use i lost hair. i want to regrow them is it possible?
3--rogaine sheds the telogen hair in the early rogaine medication.(telogen hairs couldnot grow so i shed this type of hair) am i right?

now im using propecia and avodart per day with no shedding but i cant see the sheded hairs ( from rogaine) regrowing i lost them only in 3 months.

please help me

Sadly I cannot answer your stated question professionally (since I am just a new member of this forum) but I am wondering that you use advodart AND propecia daily. If you take avodart I know that propecia is more or less just a waste of money. Also since you are quiet a similar age like I am, wouldnt it be better to just stay on propecia? Didnt it work for you? Personally I would take propecia 5 years or more and when you see hair loss again switch to avodart. Wonder what doctor gave you both drugs! Dont forget that the body adapts to the medication. So I would increase your drug intake step by step over time. Also within the next 5 years we should have more information on the proper dosage. 0.5mg of avod is a lot since it stays in your body quiet some time!

Also I somehow cant imagine that after 2 month of rogaine that there was very much of regrowth. Most people report that at after about 4 - 5 month some peachy hair show up and then after a year turn into thicker hair. And yeah its true: You lose some hair when using rogaine. BUT BELIEVE ME! Its okay. Its a good sign and means rogaine is working for you. Minoxidil is something for long term results. Take it 1 year and you will notice what I mean. Minoxidil does not kill any hair!

(1)You lose the hair gained from minoxdil very quickly. If you really gained hair while the 2 month I can imagine that they would fall out 3 - 4 weeks later.

(3) Rogaine sometimes (not for everybody) pushes the hair into a sleeping phase. (the reason for that is still unclear) If you keep using rogaine for some time these hair should grow back. Worst case that might happen is that the new hair aint much thicker.

From my personal experience the combination of propecia and rogaine is what is working best. I would keep using both medications and drop avodart.

i guess, i lost lots of sleeping mode hair(!) during the rogaine medication(2months passed after last usage). and i feel bad now because they seems to be not regrow again (but i will see after next haircut))

Rogaine does not produce permanent hair loss so I'm not sure what you're describing. Some people have some shedding when they start Rogaine but that's not permanent hair loss. If your present drugs are working, then that is as much as you can expect.
