I wrote before, but now have another question. I have a scar healing on my head, I had stitches out about 6 weeks ago. Where the skin met back up, there;s a thin, pink scar visible. Underneath it there seems to be some baldness where hair is struggling to grow. This area is probably about 1cm x 3cm rectangle, at most. I was wondering what would be a sufficient amount of grafts to fill this in with FUE, a rough estimate. I am going to give it at least 6 months (until summer) before I start to make moves, but I'm definitely entertaining the idea.

Any estimates from somebody who has some experience with FUE and good, full results so that I can shave my head to a low setting (#1-2).

Also, a little bubble has formed at the end of the scar, any ideas what that is, I figured its just a fluid build up.

Thanks for the help, this forum and blog is very enlightening.

An area of that size normally contains about 300 grafts, so about 1/3rd of that number may be enought, At least 100 grafts might suffice.

The bubble could be any number of things, an ingrown hair, an infection, a loose suture that's causing it to heal wrong. You should see your doctor and get it looked at.
