Hi!

I'm due for a 1800 graft transplant at the end of January and was wondering about the use of nizoral after my transplant....i know it takes a while before i can wash my hair again properly, but with nizoral being a strong medicated shampoo i was wondering if it is safe to use it, say, 2 weeks after the procedure?

Hi He-Man,

We recently discussed Nizoral in this post (http://baldingforum.com/showthread.php?t=356), if you read through that and still have questions, let me know.

The grafts will shed regardless approx 2 weeks post op - this is normal. It will not be because of the nizoral.I only take propecia daily.

Hair transplantation is a surgical technique that moves individual hair follicles from a part of the body called the 'donor site' to bald or balding part of the body known as the 'recipient site'. It is primarily used to treat male pattern baldness.
