I'm a 20 year old without any significant visible balding yet, but a terrible family history. Based on my pictures, do you think it's worth starting Propecia/Minoxidil now, before the hair loss becomes visible? You can tell, especially in D to G, that the hair on top of my head is much more miniaturized than the donor area.

Thanks, much appreciated.

It would be advisable to use minoxidil since its always better to start early than late, however with the first few months you will expect to shed that is expected because your hair will generate new hair don't be discourage its normal hair cycle when you take or use minoxidil since it will help you produce and regrow healthy hair. you will expect the new hair to be thicker. continued usage is necessary for this to work.
