Hi, I'm an 18 year old male, and I'm worried that my hairline is receding. From these photos, one at 17, and three at 18, is my hairline receding? Or do I still have my juvenile hairline?

I know for sure that the 3 pics at 18 were taken with my hair brushed back as much as possible to reveal every little bit of the hairline (is it normal when spiking the hair or brushing it way back to have some patchiness or scalp between the temple peak and the forehead?). The pic at 17, I can't say that my hair was brushed back, it might have been a little bit forward or could have been brushed back.

Looking at my photos from like 8-12, I have this really really low hairline with a bunch of baby hairs cutting across my forehead and connecting the temple peaks and the side of the forehead. I've always had that little v divet since I was born though.

Omg! Your hairline is almost identical to mine, as it seems like that the left temple is a bit more receeded than the other... but it's hard to say if you are experiencing a receding hairline.. mine changed at the age of 16 and is still the same (I'm now 21)

My left temple/side in general has always been a little bit patchier/receded than my right; ever since I was a kid. After taking accutane (acne medication it shed my hair quite a bit so I stopped), I'm worried about my right temple because it appears patchier than usual. I'm thinking though that it's just the short haircut combined with a natural hair cowlick/parting. If I spike or brush back the right side there are still hairs where the temple is, it's just that they all like to stick up, while the ones on the side like to stick down giving a thinner look. Whereas on my left, where it's patchier anyway, the hair likes to all slide down the side giving it a more even look.

I'm just so frustrated because I wasn't checking pre-accutane so I have nothing to compare to! I just have it in my head that my right wasn't as patchy, but I can't say if that's just me being paranoid or me noticing a stark difference.

Any other opinions, does that look like a juvenile hairline or a hairline that is receding towards a mature/norwood 1 hairline?

I'm getting OCD and getting super nervous. Everytime I look at the mirror now, I can noticeably tell that my left side is just thinner/patchier than my right. When I comb my hair swept to the left, it looks fine. When I sweep my hair to the right or stick it straight up it looks kind of thin. I'm also noticing a few short hairs (half the length of the rest of my hair) at the front of my left hairline that like to stick down and curl like wires (they stick out like a sore thumb). Those are closer to my left temple.

Should I be worried? Are these common mbp symptoms? Like I said earlier, I took accutane for a month and stopped it because it definitely gave me a brief bout of telogen effluvium. However, I've heard TE happens everywhere and deals with hairs falling out, not thinning. Mine is just on that left hairline. I've also heard TE can trigger MBP earlier.
