I've now been on finasteride for about 3 months now. I've noticed a substantial decrease in the amount of ejaculate during sex. I've also noticed a slight decrease in libido (which, frankly, is a relief) but that doesn't bother me..
I've seen a number of threads on the issue and I can't seem to find a consensus. There are some who report that after stopping it for a week or longer then returning, they were side effect free. Others reported that thay stayed the course and the side effect (decreased ejaculate) resolved. There are still others who seem to have psychological problems obsessing over their sex drive.
The decrease in ejaculate isn't a huge concern but I don't really like it. I do plan to take the matter up with my doctor, althought it seems a little odd to be talking about ejaculate with a dermatologist.... Anyways, before then I thought I would check users experience.
