Hey guys,
Probably like many of you I have an OCD when it comes to hair and baldness. I have a unique situation in that I have kind of a rare look at my family tree. My mothers family has a history of hair loss. Her father and brothers are a Norwood IV I'd say. I have two HALF brothers though, both in their 30's. THey have Norwood II/III's. On my fathers side, I have pictures going back 5-6 generations and no one has any baldness. My father has a full head of very thin, white hair.
My qustion is, is it safe to assume that if the Norwood IV on my mothers side was dominate, my brothers would have it and since they dont, the chances of me having it are also slim?
Any insite on this complex subject would be appreciated.
