18 years old.... Balding!! HELP

Hello guys,

So, for the last few days, it has been really bugging me that I am losing my hair. Even more so, because I am just 18. But, my mom says that I have not yet lost any hair and that my crown area is fine. But, whenever I take a picture with my camera with flash on, I just panic because it looks like I have lost a significant amount of hair.

I just wanted some of your opinion about whether I have lost any hair and if I have, is there anything I can do as an alternative to taking medications like Rogaine and Propecia.

that's a cowlick, my friend. Everyone has one. can't speak for your hairline but your crown is not thinning. The FAQ on this page has some great information about lighting and its effect on hair's appearance. Take some more pictures every 3-6 months to be sure, but don't obsess over it as it's likely nothing.
