In what stage am i? (Lots of pictures) Help asap...

Dear Friends

Some useful information;

I am turning 22
my dad is bald (lost all his hair in age of 30).
My brother on my father's side is going bald (he now has shaved hair but when he lets it grow you can easily see that temples is going back, he is 26, but had bad hair in the age of 19-20 and then also had temples going back

My mom has very nice hair
My brother on my mom's side still has his hair (same hairline as me and my mom). His father has hair, yet thin, but hair all over the head.
My grandpa had the same hair until 45-50, then it became thinner and thinner due to medicines, i think he lost all his hair around 60-65.


On top of it; My mom always says (still says) i have very thick hair and my dad also says i have very thick hair and he wishes he had my hair.

When i shower, i loose about 5-10 hair atm.

The first pictures below is when i stepped out of the shower (wet hair), the last pic is once my hair is dry (i used a hairdryer to make it dry faster, it gets craaaazy volume)

Do i have lots of fine hair or whats the deal? As i said, i do not loose much hair (5-10 hairs in shower when i schampoo myself)

I've Always had a bit higher forehead (so is my mom and brother)

receding hairline makes you look mature

It's hard to tell. The pictures and your hair genetics that you could have inherited definitely make it hard to rule out mpb entirely. Just keep an eye on it and start rogaine if you really feel it is receding and thinning. Check the crown for thinning periodically as well. If you do see thinning there then you have mpb and should get on propecia asap. But you've still have a lot of hair so be thankful for that.
