I started propecia 3 days ago. And so far so good. I don't have any sexual side effects. My libido and ejaculate are as normal as ever.
I do think I have some slight breast and testicular tenderness though. Which I find quite odd. I thought those were the super rare ones and if you get them then you also get the other ones such as a decreased libido and decreased ejaculate.
I haven't been taking Propecia for that long, so it's a bit odd that these side effects would pop up. What should I do?

I'm happy to say that the testicular tenderness symptom has more or less resolved. The breast tenderness has decreased in severity. It's still there but a very nagging sensation. I'm hoping for a complete resolution with the next few days.
If that's not the case I might consider lowering the dose. But I don't want to resort to that now.
Propecia is merely a watered down version of Proscar. I've seen many men take Finasteride for Prostate Enlargement. And very few of them have reported side effects.

I still have the breast tenderness and testicular pain. I'm going to visit my family doctor today. This is becoming a nuisance.
Mind you, my sex drive and erections are normal. But it's hard to "perform" when it's painful down there.
I didn't even know those were side effects until after I developed them. I thought it was just ED and libido problems.
If I'm that sensitive towards Finasteride then I might not be able to take it and that would leave Minoxidil only. Which is not nearly as effective as Propecia.

I didn't have any side effects but the pain at first. After awhile I developed problems with ejaculation and some erection problems. The erection problems are better now but I still have ejaculation problems. To be honest as long as your on any medicine that messes with your hormones that way, including anti depressants, you will have ejaculation problems. I do get worried though that I might develop a side effect that will be irreversible.

Side effects disappear as soon as you stop taking Propecia. Also, all positive results would go away when the treatment is stopped.
