This is me at almost 31. Ugh. Asian male, wavy coarse hair. Was born with a ****ty hairline around Norwood 3 so it's always been a sore spot for me. I think it's somewhere around a Norwood 3A to 4A

Have been taking Wellbutrin for 5 months which has coincided with a thinning of my hair and it doesn't grow as fast as it used to. I'm not sure if there is a direct link or just coincidence.

In addition in the past 2 weeks, i've quit drinking 2-3litres of diet coke daily and avoid artificial sweeteners as much as possible. I smoked for 10 years and quit 5 months ago coinciding with wellbutrin.

I'm really hoping that with transplant surgery, I can get the hairline I NEVER had as a kid and that I can finally style my hair and not worry about the wind and sunlight.

Do y'all think I could get a flatter hairline to bring the corners out? How many grafts do you guys think I need?

Thanks a million for your input.

Just shave it and be cool! not to say that you are old but @ that age it's kinda normal to start balding. I had great hair til I was 16 then over about 2 years all was almost gone so I just shaved it off ,,,I helps trust me :)

Dude, I am so not readyto sport a shaved head look. I'm here seeking opinions on hair restoration since i'm a newbie.

my personal opinion is to have a HT since there looks like theres not alot to save just on propecia

That seems to be the concencus. One issue is, i've been staring at my head straight for like 15 years so i've lost all sense of objectivity.

Also, the eventual degree of baldness keeps me up at night. I bargain with the Lord about that Dorian Grey style.

I'm more than happy to get a hair transplant, but i'd like to know the eventual degree of baldness so i don't end up like Jon Gosselin with a weird hairline. Looks awful in person.
