View Full Version : Weight training
I have started weight training but I am concerned that lifting heavy weights increases testostrione, which in turns increases DHT levels. Some people say that lifting will not accelerate hairloss, others say that it would. I am however unsure. Does weight training accelarate hairloss?

I am concerned about that too. I've heard contradictory statements from different people concerning this matter. I believe the Dr. on this website has answered this question before and says that lifting weights will not cause or accelerate hair loss.
But I don't want to be putting words into his mouth.
See if you can search the site for that answer. I believe it's on www.baldingblog.com.
This sort of question is one we get a lot. Fortunately, we have not seen any evidence that weight training causes hair loss or even accelerates hair loss already taking place. It just doesn't happen.
