A microscope with 200X zoom can make a mapping of the scalp ?
Are you asking a question or making a suggestion?

A question
I want to know if a microscope with 200x zoom is capable of doing a good mapping of the scalp :)
Since that Celestron got discontinued, we found out that they made an even cheaper one that seems pretty decent. We just got it in the office yesterday so we haven't had a chance to put it through its paces, but we're pretty impressed so far.

There is only one difference that I see as notable so far. The viewing area on it is about 9x7mm whereas the older one is 7x5mm. So if you're trying to calculate Follicular Units per square CM or whatnot, it's going to be different. I've still gotta do the math.
Otherwise, it's a great microscope. Video looks good, photos are very nice and crisp and clear. I'll have a longer write-up later.
