This important study should soon be ready for delivery. Does anyone know, in particular Dr Rassman, when it will arrive?

My second question is, how can we generally know if studies like these are reliable? I mean, would a Merck sponsored investigation that costs a lot of money to conduct really conclude anything negative?

I just spoke with Dr Rassman about this and he said that he's not sure when the study will be ready, but that studies like this are quite reliable. Since these drugs are all regulated by the FDA, if their effectiveness is based upon faulty studies then they can get into a world of trouble. You can see what happened when the studies weren't bullet-proof with Vioxx and how badly that hurt the pharmaceutical industry, I believe Merck was set back a few hundred billion dollars because of that.

About a reliable place to get generic Propecia, Proscar, Avodart etc...check out http://www.unitedpharmacies.com

I have been using them for about 5 yrs now. Always good service.

About the 10 yr study.... I was on Proscar for 14 years, now on Avodart for about 4years. Both effective and in my opinion don't lose their potency over time. However, blocking DHT is only one part of the equation. You need something to stimulate new growth. For that I use Laser Therapy and Dr. Lee's Xandrox products!

Anagen...Yes I do sell lasers for hairloss. I believe it is a moderately effective treatment.
However I don't promote or pump my product on this or any other site.
I was first invited to post on this site by another member. Since then I have found this site to be much better than most other hairloss forums so I decided to stay! Hope you can live with that. Good Luck!
