Hi there , I had a HT procedure done about a year ago. Im currently using Nizoral 2% 3 times per week, on Avodart(so far, it's been only decreasing my hair loss) and is scheduled for a 2nd procedure next month. What I wanna know is, if there are any products/methods that can atually, possibly stimulate regrowth besides the efforts i've already given to combat my hair loss based on the fact that:
I started losing hair at 17 but it was only recently this year( im this 24 this year) that i realised im losing them in much more significant amounts. So, it's been a total of 8 years since i started balding.
I got interested in this study on Revivogen. What are your views about it?

As far as revivogen goes, we don't have much faith in it.

And as far as "stimulating regrowth", the only product we've found that has a chance at it is Finasteride, and that's only for a small percentage of the people who take it. If you haven't seen any regrowth from it, you won't.
Sorry to be such a downer, but at this point in time the only way to help people in your situation is hair transplantation.

Hi,
You can take some medicines like generic propecia that is Finasteride which proves to be the best hair regrowth medicine and can also go for Rogaine which is effective too.
This can be more effective for you.

If you wanted to use a topical shampoo you could also use ProFusion shampoo or a similar non irritant hair loss shampoo because you aren't supposed to use Nizoral every day. I also find it gentle on my scalp so that is probably very important after a transplant, (I can't speak from experience because I've never had a transplant) but I have heard that Nioxin can cause a lot of redness).
I used Nizoral for a while, but it can have anti androgenic side effects similar to those of Propecia so be careful if you start experiencing these. I've never had any sides with ProFusion and it has helped prevent my hair loss (expecting any regrowth from a shampoo would be unrealistic on my part!)

Nizoral is no doubt a best shampoo as it is very helpful in hair loss and it recovers hair regrowth too so, I prefer it the most as, there are some other shampoos also that are very good to use but it is very necessary to see that it should not harm your scalp that is the redness which is caused by many shampoos.
Thanks
