Hi X-Factor,

I just went through that site and I'm a little confused. In the "how it works" section, there really doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information describing how it works at all. Instead it's mostly just describing what causes hair loss, then goes on to spread a lot of fear about FDA approved medications, and then goes on to say that the shampoo "nourishes" the hair with "proper nutritional and herbal supplements".

What does that mean?

It even claims that "These revived and well nourished hair follicles slowly form a resistance against chemical imbalances in the body and keep producing new hair."

How does that work?

Hi Mark,
I would like to answer that question. At the age of 20, I started losing hair a lot like daily after bath. Its a very young age to start losing hair but this happened because I used to use gel a lot and due to those harmful chemicals, I started losing hair. So I started researching on the internet about products to save hair loss. And i came across this product and to be honest, I have been very satisfied with it. Within a few weeks, I could see the positive effect. Not trying to promote that company or anything but the shampoo has worked out for me.

What they mean by that is that is that it is a shampoo which is made of herbal supplements. It contains herbal and natural supplements. There are no types of chemicals involved in that product. The shampoo protects your hair from any harm and makes them strong.

Your "Natural" product contains Nothing proven to prevent hair loss, there is some limited evidence for Saw Palmetto, but not used topically.

"Natural" does not mean safe, non-harmful, or effective. Take Parabens for example, a suspected carcinogen. I'm sure if you ask the people who make Zulvera they would tell Parabens are bad, dangerous chemicals, but they are found in "Natural" ingredients, even in whole natural grapefruit.

Nothing that really works on hair works in a few weeks, the hair grow cycle takes several months to complete. Domaintalk I'm glad your hair loss stopped, but chances are as you are very young it may well have stopped by itself, and using a shampoo, particularly one that doesn't have anything useful in it, won't have helped you.

Hi Domaintalk,

I understand what the product states it's supposed to do, I just don't understand how it's supposed to do that.

How does it "protect your hair from any harm"? How does it make the hair "strong"?

That's what I don't understand. And unfortunately since these products aren't regulated in any real way, those descriptions could be applied to just about anything. I could take olive oil, add some green food coloring, and then say it's a "natural" remedy for hair loss and use all the same phrases you use to describe what it does. But none of that actually describes how it does what they claim.

It's just marketing speak. I like to see something more substantial.

Parabens are legal in the UK as ingredients in shampoos and other toiletries. They can be absorbed by the skin but are excreted unchanged. Do you have any actual evidence that they are carcinogenic or is this just an opinion?

There are no sure ways or products that can grow your hair faster but if you just research on the internet I'm sure you can find ways or products that will fit on you
