I have noticed quite a lot of hair loss over 8 months. i seem to have a receding headline which is now quite noticeable, but also the whole front of my head seems to be a lot thinner than the back. There is some new hair growing at the receding hair line but the overall hair loss seems to be getting worst. My hair generally is quite long it is really light and soft when washed, but i seems to get greasy in less than 24 hours. I have also noticed that at the roots of the hair there is white.
I heard the bald gene passes through the female line, all my uncles on that side have full heads of hair and both my mothers, father and grandfathers did.
So, does anyone know if i am going bald???

With people your age it's important to remember that hairlines change. You may simply be getting a mature hairline from a juvenile hairline.

Do you use gel or any kind of chemical products on your hair? If so, this usually happens. And as Mark said, this usually happens in a growing age so you dont need to worry.
