Let me start off by saying I have posted this on the balding blog a few minutes ago and I've decided to post it here as well. In the images I have uploaded, you can see a before and after:

I am only 19 years old, the first picture was taken in may of just last year. (I was 18)

The second picture was earlier today. Basically my question is can male pattern baldness act this aggressively?

My family on my mothers and fathers side also has no history of male pattern baldness.

I should also note I am going through a very stressful period. Does this look like typical stress induced alopecia?

Hi Suplexx,

Individuals can have drastically different experiences with MPB. Some men lose their hair in their teens, others lose it in their 50's and 60's. People losing their hair quite agressively is not totally uncommon.

Stress induced alopecia can indeed impact you the way you're seeing in those photos. Have you seen a doctor about it?

I haven't yet seen a doctor, because it has been so sudden. I do plan to see a doctor, though.
