View Full Version : Question about the so-called "permanent" hair zones just above your ears

I have significantly less hair density in the "permanent hair zones" around my ears and the back of my head, than I do on the top of my head. Is this normal?

Here are the average number of hairs for the same square area.

Permanent zone above ear: 40 hairs (multiple measurements)
Top of head: 70 hairs! (there isn't much miniaturization on the top of my head yet.

That is unusual. How long have you had this issue?
